Compare Multiple Investments

How the ROI Comparison Calculator Works

Add as many investments as you like, entering the initial investment, final value, any additional costs, and (optionally) how long each was held. Each row gets its own net profit, ROI, and annualized ROI, and the investment with the highest ROI is automatically flagged as "Best" so you can compare options side by side at a glance.

This is the same ROI math as the single Investment ROI Calculator, just applied to a table so you can weigh multiple opportunities in one view.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many investments can I compare?

There's no fixed limit — use the "Add Investment" button to add as many as you need, and remove any you don't.

What does "Best" mean in the results table?

It marks the investment with the single highest total ROI among the ones you entered — it doesn't account for risk or holding period unless you compare the annualized column too.

Should I compare total ROI or annualized ROI?

If your investments were held for different lengths of time, compare the annualized column — it puts them on an even, per-year footing.
